Take 5,123 or the like

Thanks to Kevin Quirk, and his excellent personal blogging software Pure Blog I've decided to reboot my blog on a new domain with new software. In the past I have used everything from Wordpress to Pelican but found solutions that were either too heavy for the simple blogging I wanted to do, or too light in that it forced me to do a number of steps to make a quick post. Pure Blog seems to be a happy middle of just enough interface and administration to make blogging more accessible the posts I'd like to do.

Some things that attracted me to Pure Blog were:

• Markdown based
• Great web interface
• Simple uploading of images for posts
• Light requirements for setup

While I've not been the best about blogging over the years, I'm hopeful that this will be the impetus to post more often.
